Driver CPC is a Certificate of Professional Competence for professional bus and truck drivers. It sets and maintains high standards of safety and driving among drivers of trucks and buses.
You will need Driver CPC if you work professionally for yourself as a sole transport operator or if you are employed by a company in a professional driving capacity. If you wish to work as a professional truck or bus driver you need both a full driving licence for the category of vehicle you wish to drive and a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence.
Just bring yourself. Tea/ coffee and a light lunch will be provided on the day.
If you have your bus licence on or before the 9th September 2008, or your truck licence on or before 9th September 2009, you are automatically entitled to Driver CPC - called acquired rights. In order to keep your Driver CPC, you must do 35 hours of periodic training over the next five years.
